Winter has arrived in Colorado! We have gotten as much snow so far this winter (fall?) as we did all of last winter.
Initial Announcement: I wanted to let everyone know for budgeting purposes, we will be holding a one-day POTW Pretreatment Training class on May 7, 2012. This is the day before the Region 8 Pretreatment Association (R8PA) Pretreatment Workshop and at the same hotel. Space will be limited and on a first-register basis. See www.POTW.com for more tentative topics, hotel registration information and registration. As we finalize an agenda, I make sure it is published. Everyone is welcome. We have had many people attend that are located outside of EPA Region 8.
I will miss the NACWA meeting in May. However, since I attended the Region 1, Region 6 Pretreatment Association and the Pacific NW Pretreatment Coordinators (Region 10) workshops, I did not want to miss the Region 8 Workshop. There are so few pretreatment workshops that missing one due to conflicting dates is frustrating.
